- Ctrl+N — Create a new page (in the Mac/Windows app).
- Ctrl+Shift+P — When creating a new page, select where to add the page.
- Ctrl+Shift+N — Open a new window (in the Mac/Windows app).
- Ctrl+P — Quickly jump to a page (Quick Find).
- Ctrl+BracketLeft — Go back.
- Ctrl+BracketRight — Go forward.
- Ctrl+Shift+U — Go up to the parent page.
- Ctrl+Shift+L — Toggle dark mode.
- Ctrl+Backslash — Toggle the sidebar (in the Mac/Windows app).
- Enter — Insert text.
- Ctrl+Shift+M — Create a comment.
- Ctrl+B — Bold selected text.
- Ctrl+I — Italicize selected text.
- Ctrl+Shift+S — Strike-through selected text.
- Ctrl+K — Create a link with the selected text.
- Ctrl+E — Create inline code with the selected text.
- Escape — Select the block you are editing.
- Tab — Indent. This will insert the block into the previous block.
- Shift+Tab — Un-indent.
- Ctrl+Enter — Activate buttons/pages and checks/un-check checkboxes, toggle to-dos, or enter full screen on embeds/images.
- Ctrl+Shift+Enter — Open a page in a new tab.
- Ctrl+Shift+R — Rename the current selection.
- Space — Enter fullscreen (while on an image).
- Ctrl+A — Select all blocks in the page.
- Escape — Clear the selected blocks.
- Ctrl+D — Duplicate the blocks you have selected.
- Enter — Edit the block you have selected. If the block has no text, something else might happen.
- Ctrl+L — Copy the link to the Notion page you are on (desktop apps only).
- Ctrl+Slash — Select a few blocks, then edit blocks all at once.
- Ctrl+Slash — Select multiple cards in a board view, then move or edit them all at once.
